The exhibit will be up during the month of May. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday, 10:00-4:30 and Sunday 12:00-5:00. We invite you to visit our art show and return for a brief visit to the wonderful world of young children. Enjoy their enthusiasm for living and learning.


Welcome back to artPORT at the Atlantic City International Airport. The construction is complete and the new gallery space is installed. With the support of the South Jersey Transportation Authority, The Noyes Museum of Art is working with area artists and organizations to showcase work to over 70,000 visitors per month. From April 23rd till July 28th, Gallery I has work by up and coming artist Anthony Vega http://www.avegafineart.com/.


Gallery II has work by members of the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts (http://www.riverfrontcenter.org/). They include: Morel Pagano, Ramon Perez, Blair Seitz, Susan Rau, and Anna Vosburgh.

Exhibition Opening in Hammonton
April 17th from 5-8pm
The Noyes Museum of Art will have an opening reception entitled “Figurative Interpretations” at its satellite gallery in Hammonton, New Jersey on April 17th on South 2nd Street. The exhibition will include the following artists: Ceramic artist Jackie Sandro from Newfield, NJ; painter Steve Kuzma from Ventnor, NJ; painter Louis Riccio from Point Pleasant, NJ; and photographer Amy Evans from Califon, NJ.

Local Artists Opportunity
Seashore Gardens Living Center, a nonprofit home for the aged, located in Galloway Township, NJ just 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City is excited to announce its collaboration with The Noyes Museum of Art. This alliance affords a unique opportunity for artists to exhibit their work at the Living Center.

Beginning Sunday, May 17-Tuesday, May 19, 2008 artists living in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware or New York are invited to present two works (that can fit on an easel). This program is open to all artists working in fine art disciplines. Artists will also have the opportunity to sell their work to the public without sales commission.

Application Deadline: May 1
Notification: May 4
Delivery: May 14, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; May 15, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Open House: May 17, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; May 17-19, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Reception: May 17, 1 p.m.- 3 p.m.
Pick-up: May 20 & 21, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

This is an open exhibition with juried prizes. At the reception, Seashore Gardens Living Center will present three cash prizes: 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, and 3rd place $100.

To participate, please e-mail the following requirements to mcagno@noyesmuseum.org, and list the subject as Seashore Gardens.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide the following general information:
· Artist Statement
· Contact Information including county of residence, phone number & email

2. Visual material: Supply two digital images of work that would be in the exhibition. Work submitted must have been created within the last two years.
· Digital image must include description sheet with artist’s name, medium, dimensions, title of artwork, selling price and year created

From Atlantic City (Atlantic City Expressway)
• Take the Expressway to Exit 7N (Garden State Parkway North) to the Atlantic City Rest Area Exit (mile marker 41.4)
• Follow to Jimmie Leeds Road ramp (follow Hospital sign)
• At traffic light (end of ramp), make left onto Jimmie Leeds Road (Route 561 North)
• The Simon & Sylvia Zisman Seashore Gardens Living Center is ahead on the left approximately 1000 ft.


From Atlantic City (White Horse Pike - Route 30)
• Take Route 30 (the White Horse Pike) West toward Absecon to Chris Gaupp Road
• Make a right on Chris Gaupp Road (follow signs for Hospital)
• At light make a right on to Jimmie Leeds Road
• The Simon & Sylvia Zisman Seashore Gardens Living Center is approximately 1500 ft. ahead on the right From Philadelphia (Atlantic City Expressway)
• Take the Ben Franklin or Walt Whitman Bridge to Route 42 South
• Follow 42 South to the Atlantic City Expressway
• Follow directions from above
