MILLVILLE ARTIST ELLEN GAVIN featured IN New Exhibition Noyes Museum Continues to Feature Exhibitions of New Jersey Artists at Dante Hall in Atlantic City OCEANVILLE, N.J. – The Noyes Museum of Art and Dante Hall continue their partnership with a new exhibition featuring Millville, N.J. artist and Noyes Museum Signature Artist Member Ellen A. Gavin. The exhibition features Gavin’s realistic paintings that connect nature and human interest. The exhibition is free and open to the public Wednesday through Saturday between noon and 4 p.m. from April 11 through May 9, 2007 at Dante Hall on Mississippi Avenue in Atlantic City. A meet-the-artist reception takes place on Friday April 13 at Dante Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information please call the Noyes Museum at (609) 652-8848. Gavin graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art. She has also studied at the Art Student League in New York, Scottsdale Artists School in Scottsdale, Ariz., the American Museum of Natural History in N.Y., and the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Pa. She works primarily in oils, painting on location or in her studio in Millville, New Jersey. Gavin is becoming nationally recognized as an equestrian painter and in 2006 she became a full member of the American Academy of Equine Art (AAEA).
