Casciano Coffee Bar and Sweetery
is hosting an exhibit of "pop culture" - inspired artwork by local artist, Mike Bell, --- something not to be missed, especially as we approach the Halloween season!
Whether it¹s his interpretation of classic monsters or his painterlydepiction of retro robots, Mike blends an aura of pop sensibility and humor in his work. Inspired by a diverse range of influences from pop culture tosci-fi to typography Mike¹s canvases are filled with anything but conventionality.
Mr Bell's exhibit will be displayed from October 17 through November 2 at Casciano's. A reception to meet the artist will be held Thursday, October 23rd, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Come and enjoy our spiced hot cider -- spiked w/ buttered rum if you like -- and fall treats-- sweet and savory. The music will put you in the mood for this retro display of characters and you will be glad you were able to experience this vibrant exhibit by such a talented artist. Mr. Bell's works are displayed in many galleries throughout the U.S, but you need only to come to Downtown Hammonton to view 15 pieces of his unique collection.
